April Favourites 2013

It’s April already? That means we’re a month closer to Monsters University, The Hobbit: the Desolation of Smaug and Despicable Me 2! But until then, here’s what’s intrigued me this month.

Film: LEGO Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Out

LEGO Star Wars DVD

I love LEGO, I love Star Wars, so what’s not to like? It’s funny, interesting and shows why Star Wars can appeal to all ages.

Album: The Lion King: Original Broadway Cast Recording

We went to see The Lion King on stage in Manchester last Thursday, and words cannot describe how amazing it was. The music, the actors, the costumes; we were in awe for hours days afterwards. Ever since, I’ve not been able to get the songs out of my head, so this CD had to make the list.

Tech: Coloud C34 R2-D2 Headphones

Headphones and box

These were a Christmas Present, so after 3 months of testing them out, you’d think I’d have something to say. And this is it: they’re brilliant! The design is enough to love them, but the sound quality is better than some higher priced headphones, and they fold in half, making them perfect for people on the go.
