Have you reserved your free Windows 10 upgrade yet?

Windows’ final OS is officially available for download/purchase on 29th July 2015, but current Windows users can reserve their free upgrade now to be installed within a year after its release.

To reserve an upgrade:

  • Visit the desktop on your computer and locate the Windows icon on the right-hand-side of the toolbar. ‘Get Windows 10’ should appear if you hover over the button.

  • Click on the button to be taken to a tab explaining a bit more about what’s new with Windows 10 and what’s been kept the same from Windows 7 and Windows 8.1
  • If you like the look of Windows 10, click on the ‘Reserve upgrade’ button and you will be notified after the release date to install your new operating system.

What’s the catch?

There isn’t one! It’s completely free to reserve and upgrade to Windows 10 and you get the full deal, no trial version or introductory period.
